New Site Re-Design

So, your probably wondering why there's this little construction page covering the Jick site. That's right, you guessed it, we are working on a new site once again, haha.

In case your freaking out, our movies are still available on our youtube page at youtube.com/jickpictures.

It's nothing short of amazing and we are including many features we think you'll be happy with such as: iPhone compatible website, viewable movies on mobile phones, embedded movie codes (to put on your myspace or website), and a much sleeker interface. These are just rumors as of yet, however, we know you'll be happy and we won't let you down.

We are also announcing that when school starts August 13th, we will have buttons available as well as business cards. There's even talk about more jick t-shirts. But as of now, keep it real.

A Few Things

Sorry about the lack of updates recently. We are working a few things that we would like to share with you. First, we decided to finally release the ACT Presentation video made by Ryan Gordon. You can check it out here. Second, we are announcing as of today we are starting a new website redesign. More info is going to come later, but we're sorry about the short update. We have a lot of stuff on our plate, so stay with us, haha.

Tease Released

Check it out in the flicks section! If you don't already know, the movie was submitted to the 7th Annual Xanadu Film Festival where it will be screened April 26th at San Gabriel High School. We hope it turns out well and wins an award but we want you guys to tell us what you think! So let us know! The film took us a total of 8 hours to shoot and a total of 11 hours to edit. Theres tons of interesting behind the scenes as well.

Tease - In Production

The formally known movie "April Fools" is now called "Tease". We changed the name due to the fact that the movie was not ready to be released on April Fools, as you can porbably tell. The movie still has the same storyline, however. This movie is now in production and will be released on April 11th, just in time for the 7th Annual Xanadu Film Festival. We'll continue to keep you updated as more news follows.

Totally Big News

First, ACT promo is available on the jick site and was shown to all the freshman today. It went really well no doubt! You can check it out right now on it's page. The other thing is that we are making an iTunes podcast to download our videos! More on everything later! Stay tuned!

ACT Promo Complete

The 2008 ACT Promo Video is complete! Your probably saying, "Finally! I'm going to check it out right freaking now!" But sorry to break it to you guys, it's not yet available online, we will let you know as soon as it is available on the jick site of course. We are unable to release the movie because the release date is not really until Feburary 21st. So keep checkin' back and thanks to everyone that helped with the video! It really is awesome.

ACT Promo Update

If you haven't already heard, we are still in production with the 2008 ACT Promo. We have finished shooting in Ben's classroom today and things are looking really good with the footage. Another thing you guys might be interested in is that we finally have a due date for the ACT Promo. It will be finished and ready on February 13. But it will not be released until February 21st. The trailer's coming soon so stay patient! Enjoy.

It's Just MySpace Complete!

Alright guys, so we are officially done with "It's Just MySpace" as of today. You can check it out in the flicks section and also please tell us what you think. It's the best Jick Flick so far, we think, hopefully you do too. This puppy is also going to try and get featured on the MySpace homepage and also YouTube. ACT Promo In Progress

Shooting for the new 2008 ACT Promo is well under way. We will begin shootings the first chase scene tomorrow (12/22/07) and then begin editing. We can't shoot anything else 'till we get back from Christmas break. So that's that, you guys have a Merry Christmas, from Jick!

Big Projects Ahead

So we have been talking to some of our teachers lately, and they decided to choose us for certain club related videos. We have been asked to do a 2008 Cross Country Video for the team next year, along with their end-of-the-year stat book. On top of that, we also want to make a new promotional video for the 2008 ACT class. That is in production as of NOW. We are in the process of writing the screenplay and have plenty of ideas. Big things for Jick Pictures so it seems. But don't worry this won't stop us from making more flicks. We'll keep you guys updated in the future.

Alright, well it's finally here. Sorry about the last site, for some reason it was totally incompatbile with Internet Explorer and Firefox, which was no good. So we fixed everythin, obviously. The new site design is more more simplier and easy to use. Take a look around and let us know what you think, everything is pretty much the same.

Technical Problems

If you haven't notcied already, the Jick Site had major problems with the website design. For some reason, a lot of the links won't work and the site is going too slow, a lot of people reported Friday. More problems also occur when not loading images on some browsers. We don't know why but we're working on a new site redesign...ugh...yet again. Bear with us. The movies are offline on the Jick Site for now but you can check them out at our YouTube page. Thanks for your understanding and we'll have it up ASAP.
